Invoices, quotes and delivery notes

Issuing an invoice with the customer's ICE, making a quote from the basket and turning it into a sale, printing a delivery note, cancelling a document.

Issuing an invoice

  1. In Sales and returns, open the sale, then tap Invoice.
  2. Enter the customer's company name and, for a business, its ICE (15 digits), IF, RC and address. Choosing a saved customer fills in the fields, with the ICE from their last invoice.
  3. Tap Issue invoice, then Print (A4).

The invoice lists the sale's items minus anything returned, the amounts excl. tax, the VAT by rate, the total incl. tax in words and the payment method (cash, card, cheque with its number, bank transfer, credit still owed). A sale can appear on only one invoice.

Making a quote

  1. On the Till, fill the basket as for a sale.
  2. Tap Quote, enter the customer and, if needed, the valid-until date.

Nothing is sold or taken out of stock. When the customer accepts, open the quote in Invoices and quotes and tap Convert to sale: the basket is put on hold on the till; resume it to take payment. Prices are those on the day of payment.

Delivery note

In the sale, tap Delivery note: it lists the quantities delivered, with or without prices, and a “Received by” box for the customer's signature.

Numbers and cancellation

Each document type has its own numbering with no gaps, per till (F-000001, D-000001, BL-000001). Prefixes, company name, RC, Patente, CNSS, bank details (RIB) and footer are set in Invoices and quotes › Settings (manager). With several tills, give each one different prefixes (F1-, F2-).

An issued document cannot be edited. If there is a mistake, a manager cancels it with a reason: its number stays used, it prints “CANCELLED”, and a cancelled invoice frees its sales for a new invoice.
