The LePOS till, on your shop computer.

Every sale is saved in the shop, even without the internet, then sent to your dashboard as soon as the connection is back. In French, Arabic and English.

You’re on a phone or a tablet. LePOS Caisse installs on the shop computer, a Mac or a Windows PC: open this page on that computer.

Choose the version for your computer

Apple silicon or Intel? Apple menu › About This Mac: the Chip line (Apple) or Processor line (Intel).

The till tells you when a new version is out.

What the shop needs

A computer is all you need to sell. Plug in the rest when you need it.

  • A computer

    A Mac running macOS 13 or later, or a PC running Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit).

    The internet to activate the till. After that, it sells offline for up to 3 days, with an alert at 24 h and at 48 h.

  • A receipt printer

    An ESC/POS network printer, 80 or 58 mm, or printing through the browser.

    The cash drawer opens through the printer.

  • A barcode scanner

    A USB scanner. Scale labels are read when you scan them.

  • Your card terminal

    It stays separate from the till: the cashier confirms the card payment.

Install it, once

During the pilot, Apple and Microsoft don’t recognise the app yet, so the first time you open it your computer asks you to confirm. That’s expected, and it only happens once.

On a Mac

  1. Open the downloaded file and drag LePOS Caisse into Applications.
  2. Open LePOS Caisse. macOS shows “Apple could not verify…”: click Done.
  3. In System Settings › Privacy & Security, click Open Anyway next to LePOS Caisse, then enter your Mac’s password.
  4. Activate your till with the code shown on your dashboard.

On Windows

  1. Open the downloaded file. If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, click More info, then Run anyway.
  2. Keep the suggested folder and click Install.
  3. Windows asks to open the firewall for the kitchen screen on the shop network: click Yes.
  4. Click Close: the till opens. Activate it with the code shown on your dashboard.

The first time it opens, pick EN at the top of the setup screen, choose “I created my account online”, enter the activation code shown on your dashboard, then choose your till PIN.

Getting updates

On Windows, the till downloads the new version and offers to install it once the basket is empty. On a Mac, it lets you know: download it from this page and install it over the old one. The till’s data stays on the computer.
