Till and stock for Moroccan shops

Internet down? Your till keeps selling.

LePOS Caisse saves every sale on the shop computer, then sends it all to your phone as soon as the connection is back. Nothing lost, nothing counted twice, right down to the centime. In French, Arabic and English.

Public demo, no sign-up: “Caissier démo”, PIN 1234.

Offline first

A dropped connection no longer stops the counter.

The till doesn’t need the internet to sell. It keeps everything on the computer, encrypted, and sends it whenever it can.

  1. You sell

Each sale is saved on the shop computer first, in an encrypted database whose key stays in the system keychain.

  2. The network drops

Taking payment, giving change, returns, closing the shift: it all carries on. The badge only says “Synced” once nothing is left waiting.

  3. The connection comes back

Sales go up to the cloud on their own, with nothing lost or doubled, even after the computer was shut down abruptly.

Up to 3 days without a connection, with alerts at 24 h and 48 h. After that, the till asks you to reconnect before it takes new sales.

Features

Everything you need at the counter, and behind it.

From the corner grocery to a small chain of shops, the same till handles sales, stock, credit and the day’s figures.

Fast checkout

  • Search by name, SKU or barcode; a USB scanner adds items as you scan
  • Items sold by weight with 0.25 / 0.5 / 1 / 2 kg shortcuts, scale labels read at the scan
  • Cash with change due, card on your own terminal, customer credit, split payments
  • Parked baskets, keyboard shortcuts (F2, F9), never a duplicate sale
  • Returns and exchanges with a reason; credit notes and receipts numbered with no gaps

Stock and purchasing

  • Goods received, stock counts, waste and breakage, a history of every movement
  • Case-to-unit conversion, thresholds and low-stock alerts
  • Batches and expiry dates; a recalled batch is blocked at the till
  • Purchase orders, partial deliveries, supplier invoices and payments
  • Shelf labels and barcodes, catalogue import from CSV

The credit book, without the paper

  • Customer records with a credit limit, checked even offline and shared across tills
  • Sell on credit and take repayments in two taps
  • Printable statement with the age of the debt (0–30, 31–60, 61–90, 90+ days)
  • Corrections with a reason, never deletions

Promotions

  • Six types: percentage, amount off, promo price, “N for X” bundles, “buy N, get M free”, discount above a spend
  • The best promotion applied automatically and printed on the receipt
  • Scheduled prices: the till switches price at the set time, even offline

Team and control

  • One PIN per employee, locked after 5 attempts
  • Discounts, price changes and returns reserved for managers, with a reason
  • Till shifts: opening float, cash in and out, blind close
  • Chained audit log: every change or deletion shows

Daily figures and exports

  • Daily report: sales, VAT by rate, payment methods, returns by reason
  • 11 CSV exports that open in Excel, with exact amounts
  • A complete archive of your data, at any time
  • Fast even with 10,000 products and 100,000 sales

Café pack

Subscription add-on

Order, kitchen, receipt. Even offline.

With the café pack, the till takes eat-in, takeaway and delivery orders and sends them to the kitchen over the café’s Wi-Fi.

  • Options and extras, set menus, allergens in French and Arabic
  • Kitchen screen on a tablet, with an automatic paper ticket as backup
  • Up to six kitchen stations (kitchen, bar…), with Received / Ready / Handed over
  • Up to four tills in the café, sharing open orders
  • Recipes, cost and theoretical margin, waste, stock counts and variances
  • House-made preparations (syrups, cold brew), and tips kept out of revenue
  • Café reports: sales by product and by hour, preparation times
  • Café menu edited on the web, never applied in the middle of an order
Café reports: orders, average ticket, items per order, net after returns, comparison with the previous week and sales by product.
The LePOS floor plan: tables 1 to 8, occupied tables in colour with their covers, server, bill amount and time at the table.

Restaurant pack

Subscription add-on

Table service, from the floor to the pass.

Draw your floor plan, open a table with its covers, send the starters and hold the mains: the kitchen gets each course at the right moment, on paper or on the kitchen screen.

  • A floor plan that matches your room: areas, round, square or long tables
  • Live floor view: free, in the kitchen, next course to send, bill
  • Starters, mains, desserts, and “call the next course” in one tap
  • Printed bill showing the amount per person
  • Move items, merge tables, split the bill or divide it equally
  • Voided dishes need a reason; “on the house” is manager-only
  • Several tills on the floor, with “Pick up here” at the counter
  • Restaurant report: covers, average per cover, sales by server

Multiple shops

One shop today, a chain tomorrow.

Add a till with a single-use code, open a second shop, bring in a franchisee: everything stays in the same account.

Prices and range per shop

Each shop keeps its own prices and products; central promotions apply to every shop or just some.

Transfers between shops

Send stock from one shop to another, even offline, with stock in transit, partial receipts and breakage.

Requests you approve

A shop asks, the owner accepts or declines. Purchasing can be centralised too.

A time zone per shop

Casablanca, Dakar or Paris: each shop keeps its own trading day.

Owner dashboard

Your business in your pocket.

On your phone, at app.lepos.ma: sales from every till, the credit book and your prices, without being in the shop.

  • Revenue incl. tax, number of sales, VAT collected, sales on credit
  • Every receipt in detail, best sellers net of returns
  • Reports by shop and by till, with figures marked “provisional” until every till has sent everything
  • Change a price or a product online: the till gets it within minutes
  • Bulk edits and CSV import, with a preview before you apply
Sample screen, made-up figures.
The LePOS till in Arabic, with a right-to-left interface: categories, product tiles and a receipt with a total of 56,00 درهم.

French, Arabic and English

A real Arabic till, right to left.

Not a translation pasted onto a French screen: in Arabic the whole interface flips, from the receipt to the menus. And the same till speaks English too.

  • Each employee picks French, Arabic or English in one tap on the sign-in screen
  • The online dashboard in French, Arabic or English; receipts and invoices in French and Arabic
  • Arabic product names on the tiles and on receipts
  • Built-in help in French, Arabic and English, available offline
  • Morocco time always right, Ramadan included

Security and data

Your figures are yours, and well protected.

Every login is personal, every action leaves a trace, and your data stays exportable.

Encrypted local database

Sales on the computer are encrypted on disk; the key stays in the system keychain.

Two-step verification

Required for the owner and managers online, with backup codes.

Chained audit log

No change or deletion ever goes unnoticed.

Respect for customers

A customer’s phone number is only saved with their consent; export, correction and anonymisation on request.

Always exportable

Your data stays viewable and exportable, even if the subscription is suspended.

One-click backup

An alert tells you if the computer’s last backup is more than 24 hours old.

Hardware

Works with what’s already on your counter.

LePOS Caisse installs on a shop computer and works with everyday hardware.

Receipt printer

ESC/POS network printers, 80 or 58 mm, or printing through the browser. The sale is saved even if the printer doesn’t respond.

Cash drawer

Opened by the receipt printer when you take payment.

Barcode scanner

A USB scanner that types like a keyboard: scan, and the item is added.

Scale

Price or weight labels printed by the scale, read when you scan them; or type the weight in kg.

The card terminal isn’t linked to the till: the cashier confirms the card payment on the till.

Public demo

Get your hands on the till before you decide.

Pick your type of business: a real LePOS till, with the catalogue and screens of a shop like yours. Made-up data, reset every night, no sign-up.

The customer display opens in another window of the same browser as the demo: each item rung up appears there, with the total and the change due.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an internet connection to sell?
No. The till saves every sale on the shop computer and sends it as soon as the connection is back. It works for up to 3 days offline, with alerts at 24 h and 48 h.
What happens if the power goes off in the middle of a sale?
A sale is saved in full or not at all: never halfway. When the till restarts, it picks up where it left off and nothing is sent twice.
Which computers does the till run on?
A Mac (Apple silicon or Intel, macOS 13 or later) or a PC running Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). Download LePOS Caisse from your dashboard or from the download page.
Can I follow my sales from my phone?
Yes, at app.lepos.ma: revenue, receipts, best sellers, the credit book, and reports by shop and by till.
Is the till available in English?
Yes. The till and the online dashboard come in French, Arabic and English, and each employee picks their own language; in Arabic the whole interface runs right to left. Receipts and invoices are printed in French and Arabic.
Does it take card payments?
Customers pay by card on your usual terminal, and the cashier confirms the payment on the till. The terminal isn’t linked to the till directly.
I run a café: what does the café pack add?
Eat-in, takeaway and delivery orders, a kitchen screen on a tablet, up to six kitchen stations, recipes and margins, and dedicated reports.
Where is my data kept?
On the shop computer, encrypted, and in the LePOS cloud on servers in Europe. You can export everything at any time.
Can I try it before I sign up?
Yes: the public demo at demo.lepos.ma needs no sign-up. Creating an account then comes with a free trial.
