Look for the message the till shows (the help search works too). The codes in square brackets are for LePOS support.
The till isn't responding
The till software on this computer has stopped or is restarting. Close and reopen the LePOS Caisse app. If a sale was in progress, try it again: it will only be recorded once. If the message comes back, restart the computer, then contact support.
Too many requests from this connection
The online server (the public demo on the internet) limits the number of actions per connection, so nobody can overload it. The refused action was not saved. Wait a few seconds, then do it again: a sale will only be recorded once. Several open tabs or many exports in a row can trigger this message; close the tabs you don't need. A till installed in the shop has no such limit.
Your session has expired
A session lasts at most 12 hours, or ends when someone switches user. Sign in again with your PIN; the current receipt is kept.
PIN refused or account locked
After 5 wrong PINs, the account is locked for 5 minutes: wait, then try again calmly. A forgotten PIN can't be shown: a manager or the owner gives you a new one in Team › New PIN (the lock is lifted straight away; a manager's or the owner's PIN is changed with the PIN and authenticator code of the person making the change). The new PIN works on every till in the shop from their next sync. To change your own PIN: menu at the top right › Change my PIN.
New PIN refused
A PIN has 4 to 8 digits. To give a manager or the owner a new PIN, confirm with your PIN and the 6-digit code from your authenticator app (a wrong code counts towards your limit of 5 attempts). Only an owner can change another owner's PIN.
Deactivation or role change refused
Nobody can deactivate their own account or change their own role: ask another manager or the owner. The shop always keeps at least one active owner: first add or reactivate another owner. If two tills each deactivated a different owner while offline, the cloud keeps the last active owner and reactivates them on the till concerned.
Custom role refused
A custom role is given to a cashier-level account: for a manager or the owner, first choose Cashier. With a custom role that manages the team, you can only give roles whose permissions you all have, and you can't touch managers or the owner: ask the owner. A role that can't be found was deleted on the online dashboard, or hasn't reached this till yet: refresh the page after the sync.
Public demo account
On the public demo, the “Propriétaire démo” account is shared by every visitor: its PIN, two-step verification, role and status are fixed, so nobody can lock the others out. While it is public, anything beyond this demo till is locked too: creating, promoting or reactivating a manager or owner, widening their shops, turning on or resetting their two-step verification, resetting their PIN, the online owner area codes, linking another till or creating a shop, a printer's network address, the kitchen screen port, backups and sending a diagnostic report. You can manage cashiers, the catalogue, settings and packs. On a real shop's till, this account doesn't exist.
Authenticator code (managers and owner)
Enter the 6-digit code shown in your authenticator app, or a backup code. Each code works only once: if it has just been used, wait for the next one (30 seconds). Check that the phone's time is set automatically. Phone lost and no backup code: another manager or the owner resets your two-step verification in Team. It is required for managers and the owner and can't be turned off.
Restricted action or deactivated account
Discounts, price changes, cash movements, limits and settings are reserved for managers, the owner and custom roles that allow them. A custom role may also lack a cashier permission (receiving, adjusting, counting serial numbers, customer pricing, points). Ask your manager (for a return, use “Request approval”). A deactivated account can no longer sign in: a manager or the owner reactivates it in Team › Reactivate. The shift is closed by the person who opened it, or by a manager.
New sales blocked (licence or subscription)
Licence: reconnect this till to the internet, then tap “Retry connection” in the banner; sales resume as soon as a valid licence is received. Subscription suspended or cancelled: contact LePOS at [email protected]. Either way, browsing, reports, exports, returns and backups keep working, and nothing is deleted.
Shift closed or already open
To sell or take cash out of the drawer, first open a shift (Shift › Open shift, with the opening float). Only one shift can be open per till: close the previous one before opening a new one.
The payment doesn't match the receipt
The payments must add up to exactly the receipt total; only the cash part can be more (the change is given back). Check the card and credit amounts of the split payment. An empty receipt can't be charged.
A reason is required
Discounts, price changes, balance corrections, receiving more than ordered and returns marked “Other” need a written reason: it is kept in the audit log. Enter it, then confirm again.
Carton quantity doesn't add up
The total quantity must equal cartons × units per carton + units. Check the product's carton size in the Catalogue.
Return not possible on this receipt
You can only return items from this receipt, and no more than what is still returnable (earlier returns included). Check the receipt number in Sales and returns. A sale made on another till can only be returned on the till that recorded it.
Manager approval
A return or exchange prepared by a cashier must be approved by a manager on the same till (“Request approval”). The approval lasts 5 minutes, works once, and only for this exact return: if you change a quantity or the reason, ask again. For an interrupted exchange, start again from the receipt.
Credit sale refused
Choose the customer in the payment. Without a credit limit set by a manager, no credit is possible (Customers and credit › Credit limit). If the limit is reached, take a credit repayment or pay part another way. A deactivated customer can no longer buy on credit.
Product record problem
An archived product can no longer be sold: reactivate it in the Catalogue if needed. Each barcode or scale code belongs to one product only. The VAT rate must exist (Catalogue › VAT rates). A scale label profile must have consistent positions: use the “test a code” tool.
Scale label refused
Nothing was added to the receipt. Scan the label again (it was misread). If the message persists, the label's item code doesn't match any product, or the product isn't sold by weight: check the product's scale code in the Catalogue, or enter the product by hand.
Batches and variants
A batch-tracked product needs a batch number at every receiving. A recalled batch can no longer be sold and an expired batch can't be chosen: remove it from stock (Adjustment › Waste). A batch number always keeps the same expiry date. Two variants in a family can't have the same attributes.
Invalid value or field
Check the amounts (2 decimal places at most), the quantities (3 decimal places at most, above zero), the dates and the required fields. For an export, the start date must come before the end date. If “Request refused” appears, reload the page.
The receipt won't print
The sale is saved. Check that the printer is on, has paper and that its network cable is plugged in; the IP address is set in Receipts and printing. The receipt waits in “Pending prints” and comes out as soon as the printer responds. Without a receipt printer, use “Print from browser”.
Parked basket not found
A parked basket only exists on the till where it was set aside, and can be picked up only once: it may already have been charged or cancelled. Check Parked baskets, or ring up the receipt again.
Sending to the LePOS server (diagnostic report, dashboard)
The diagnostic report is only sent once you've ticked the consent box, and only the content you've seen: if it has expired or changed, prepare it again. If the server can't be reached, check the internet connection and try again later; you can also download the file and send it to support. Sales are never blocked by the server.
Disk full
The operation was NOT saved. Free up space on the computer (old downloads, recycle bin), then try again. Check “Free disk space” in Till status and tell support if the disk fills up quickly.
Customer personal data
A phone number is only saved once the customer's consent is ticked. Anonymising a customer who owes money needs a reason (and the owner role); type the requested word to confirm — this can't be undone. An anonymised customer can no longer be edited. Accounting records are kept for at least 10 years.
Purchasing and suppliers
A purchase order that is received, closed or cancelled can no longer be edited or received. Goods received appear on one invoice only, and a supplier invoice is recorded only once. You can't return more than the delivery brought in. A bank transfer or cheque needs its reference. If there's an ID conflict, start the operation again.
Invoices, quotes and delivery notes
A sale appears on one invoice only: to correct an invoice (wrong ICE, wrong customer), a manager cancels it with a reason in Invoices and quotes, then a new one is issued. A cancelled document can't be edited, and a quote already turned into a sale can't be converted a second time: pick up its parked basket on the till.
Stock transfers between shops
Only a draft can be edited or cancelled; a sent transfer is settled when it's received. You can't transfer to your own till. A transfer sent to the whole shop is received by a single till, online: connect the till, then Refresh. If it has already been received elsewhere, there's nothing to do here. If only part has arrived, tick “The rest will arrive later”: the rest stays in transit and is received afterwards. If what arrived differs from what was sent, enter the actual quantities and the reason: the difference goes to the owner, and damaged goods count as waste for this shop. If the owner has released this till's receiving, connect it and try again: another till may already have taken the transfer. If there's an ID conflict, start again.
Transfer requests between shops
You request stock from a shop other than your own, even without internet: the request goes out at the next sync. To answer it, the till of the shop being asked must have received it: connect it, then Refresh in “Transfers”. A request is fulfilled only once: if it has already been fulfilled, refused or cancelled (perhaps by another till), there's nothing to do here. Preparing a transfer reserves the request for this till (this needs an internet connection): if another till in the same shop has already reserved it, there's nothing to do here until its reservation expires or its draft is cancelled. If the quantity sent is less than requested, the request stays open for the rest (another till, or the same one, can complete it later). The transfer always goes to the shop that made the request.
Data import and migration
An import batch is confirmed only once; a confirmed or abandoned batch is closed. Map all the required columns before the dry run (for past sales: date, quantity, price, VAT and SKU or product name). To correct things after confirming, use the normal operations (adjustment, balance correction). Past sales imported by mistake are removed in one go: Data migration › Delete import, then import the corrected file. The same file can only be imported once while its import exists.
Time zone and currency
The time zone must be an IANA name (Africa/Casablanca). The currency can't be changed once a sale has been recorded: this is intentional, so the history stays in its original currency.
Returning a receipt from another till
A receipt from another till can only be returned online: the cloud reserves the quantities so the same item isn't refunded twice. Without internet, do the return on the original till. Credit sales and exchanges are always done on the original till. If the original till isn't synced, do the return there. “Already returned” means these items have been refunded, here or elsewhere.
Customer credit across several tills
With several tills, each till has a share of the customer's credit limit, topped up automatically online. If the share runs out, reconnect the till to the internet and try again. If the limit is reached across all tills, the customer must pay back part of it, or the owner raises the limit.
Loyalty points payment refused
Paying with points is turned on in Promotions and loyalty › Pay with points (manager). Choose the receipt's loyalty customer before charging. If there aren't enough points, lower the part paid in points and pay the rest another way; the manager may have set a minimum number of points per payment and a maximum per receipt. With several tills, the till must be online to get the customer's points; if another till has just used them, try again in a few minutes. When a till has just been added, every till must first sync once: an offline till blocks the use of points elsewhere until it syncs.
Serial number or IMEI refused
A serial-tracked product is received, sold, returned and transferred one number per item: the quantity is the number of serial numbers. An IMEI has 15 digits, the last being a check digit — check what you typed or scan the box. To sell it, the number must be in stock on this till: look it up in Serial numbers to see where it is; if it was received on another till in the shop, first transfer it to this one (Transfers). A genuine IMEI whose last digit doesn't match (refurbished or imported device) is accepted at receiving or in a stock count with a reason (a cashier asks a manager for approval): it is marked IMEI not verified. Devices in stock before tracking was turned on have no number: go to Stock › the product › Count serial numbers. A sold device isn't received back in: it comes back through the return of its sale, and only the numbers sold on that receipt can be returned. Tracking can only be turned on for a product sold by the piece and not batch-tracked, and the warranty needs tracking.
Customer group price refused
A receipt has only one customer: the one chosen under the receipt is also the loyalty customer and the credit customer. To put the sale on another customer's credit book, first change the receipt's customer. Café and restaurant orders keep menu prices: remove the customer or charge outside the order. If the group is no longer on the till (archived or not received yet), sync the till and try again; groups are managed in the owner area, Customer groups.
Account not allowed in this shop
An account can be limited to certain shops (Team › Access). Sign in with an account from this shop or ask the owner to widen the access. A newly created account takes a few moments to reach the other tills: try again after the sync.
Account from another shop
A till only keeps the PIN and two-step verification of accounts allowed in its own shop. The account of someone from another shop shows here, but it is edited (name, role, shops, PIN, two-step verification) from a till in their shop, or from the online dashboard.
Dashboard or new till code refused
These codes (online dashboard, access recovery, new till) need the 6-digit code from the owner's authenticator app, checked by the LePOS server. Enter the code shown right now; if it has just been used, wait for the next one. If the server doesn't know your account yet, keep the till online while it syncs, then try again. Two-step verification that has just been reactivated on a till is only accepted after 24 hours: this protects you if someone else changed it. The till also signs each request with its own security key: if it was registered after an update, it is only accepted after 24 hours; if the server doesn't recognise it, check the till's date and time; if the server knows a different one, contact support straight away (this also happens after restoring an old backup). Only an owner can get these codes.
Product not sold in this shop, shop-specific price
The owner chooses, shop by shop, which products are sold and any shop-specific price (Tills and shops › Prices and range by shop, or the owner area › Prices by shop). A product not sold here no longer appears on the till and its barcode is refused: sell another item or ask the owner to put it back on sale in this shop. Past sales, returns and stock for this product stay intact. The change reaches the tills at the next sync (a few minutes). If the cloud doesn't know the shop or the product, sync the catalogue and try again. A price that changes by itself at a set time is a scheduled price set by the owner: the till received it in advance and applies it on its own at shop time, even offline (Catalogue › Scheduled prices).
Promotion limited to certain shops
In Promotions and loyalty, a promotion applies to all shops or only some: in that case, tick at least one shop. Promotions are saved on the till where you create them; a promotion limited to another shop stays visible there (“Not in this shop”) but is never applied here. The list of shops comes from the last sync: if a new shop is missing, wait for the next sync.
“Central” promotion can't be edited on the till
A promotion marked Central was created by the owner (or franchisor) in the owner area › Promotions: it reaches the tills with the catalogue and applies exactly like a till promotion, but it can only be edited, turned off or archived there. Ask the owner to change it; the change arrives at the next sync (a few minutes). For an offer specific to this till, create a local promotion instead (“New promotion”). A central and a local promotion don't stack on the same line: the till applies whichever is better for the customer.
Adding a till or a shop
The add code is requested on a till already in use (Tills and shops), lasts 15 minutes and works only once: if something goes wrong, ask for a new one and enter it without spaces. After several wrong attempts, wait a few minutes. If the cloud refuses multiple tills (key not configured), contact support: it's a server setting.
Café pack turned off or can't be turned off
The café pack (options, combos, orders sent to the kitchen) is turned on in Receipts and printing › Café pack, by the owner or a manager. It can't be turned off while an order is still open or a kitchen ticket hasn't arrived: charge or cancel the open orders (Orders), deal with the flagged kitchen tickets (Show, Already received in kitchen, Print at till), then try again. Sales already made don't change.
Café pack not included in your plan
Your LePOS subscription doesn't include the café plan: the café pack can't be turned on on this till. Contact LePOS to add it; the till receives it the next time it connects, then try again. A till whose café pack was already on keeps it and carries on selling (orange banner “Café plan not included”); don't turn it off until the plan is added, or it can't be turned back on.
Café: item sold out, options or combo refused
An item marked Sold out can't be sold today: remove it from the receipt, or put it back on sale with the ⋯ menu on its tile (or “Sold-out mode”). If a line's options are no longer valid (option removed, required choice missing), tap the line, then Options / note and choose again; for a combo, remove it and build it again. The note for the kitchen is limited to 140 characters. An order sent to the kitchen can't carry an item discount or a changed price: remove them, or charge straight away; a receipt discount is still possible at payment.
Café: order changed elsewhere, price changed or nothing to resend
An order can only be changed from its latest version: if another till or tab has changed it, the till reloads it — check it, then resend. An open order is charged at the kitchen ticket amount (prices locked when sent); only a VAT rate change blocks payment: tap Resume, then Resend to kitchen to confirm the new total. “Nothing has changed”: change an item, an option, a note, the order type or the name before resending. An order already paid or cancelled can't be resumed. A cancellation needs a reason. If a message mentions an operation already recorded or an unknown line, close the order, reopen Orders and start again.
Café: change, cancel or refund a paid order
A paid order is handled in Orders › Paid: Edit only changes the choices and kitchen notes (same amount, with a reason); to remove or change an item, use Refund (quantities per line, whole combo or per item) — a credit note A-xxxxxx is issued and the kitchen gets the cancellation. A café order sale doesn't go through the Returns screen or exchange: the sale's Refund order No. … button takes you straight there. An order not yet paid is cancelled (Orders › Open › Cancel). To add items to a paid order, tap Add: this works the same day, on the till holding it; the addition is a separate sale. An order paid in several goes is refunded one sale at a time: choose Original sale or Addition … in Refund.
Tip refused, or can't be cancelled
Tips are turned on in Receipts and printing › Tips (manager). A tip is paid in cash (taken from the money received) or by card (included in the amount put through the terminal, entered before the card is presented), never on customer credit; it can't be more than the sale amount (or 20,00 MAD on a small receipt). Cancel tip is done on the receipt, by a manager, the same day and on the till that took it — once only. VAT by order type isn't used in Morocco: leave it empty; it's only allowed on a tax-inclusive rate.
Café with several tills: another till's order, pairing, menu
An order belongs to the till holding it (badge Till T2): to charge it here, tap Take over here; if the other till doesn't respond, charge on this one. An order changed in the meantime, or with a kitchen ticket still being sent, can be taken over a few seconds later. To pair a till, the code comes from Pair a till (not Pair a screen) on the main till — the one with the kitchen screen — on the same Wi-Fi and in the same shop; four tills at most. A main till keeps its kitchen screen while tills are paired to it: Unpair them first. A refused menu file was edited, comes from another business or contains a value the catalogue refuses: export it again from the original till. “Link refused”: the till answering at this address doesn't have the main till's key (another till, or a device pretending to be it) — check the address on the main till, and update every till. “Encryption refused”: Require encryption is on on the main till; pair this till again.
Café: the menu can't be edited on the till (managed online)
The owner manages the café menu from the online dashboard: edit options, combos, product café settings and category stations there (Café › Café menu), then publish. The till applies the new version as soon as no order is in progress on it; “New version waiting” on the Café menu card means a receipt is still open: clear it or charge it. Sold-out items, kitchen stations, printers and recipes are still set on the till. “Cloud key missing”: the till can't verify the online menu and keeps its own — contact LePOS. To edit the menu on the tills again, the owner chooses Go back to the tills' menu on the dashboard.
Café: kitchen ticket not printed or station without a printer
An order is always saved, even if the kitchen or bar printer doesn't respond. A kitchen ticket can't be resent or cancelled from “Pending prints”: use the kitchen alert or the order screen — Print at till (if there's a receipt printer), Show (show the ticket on screen) or Already received in kitchen. A “not set up” station has no printer: a manager adds it in Receipts and printing › Kitchen stations. A “replaced” ticket was superseded by a newer version of the order: nothing to do.
Closing with unpaid orders
The till shows the numbers of orders sent to the kitchen and not yet paid. Charge or cancel them (Orders) before closing, or tap Close anyway: they stay open and can be charged when the next shift opens (the payment then counts in the new shift).
Café: combo or option group refused
In Catalogue › Options, a group has a unique name, a maximum at least equal to the minimum (and to 1), no more default options than the maximum, and extras that are zero or positive. In Catalogue › Combos, a combo has a name, a price and at least one step; each choice is an active product sold by the piece, price incl. tax. Correct the flagged field, then save.
Expense or account: operation refused
In Expenses and accounts: an account never goes below zero — first make a deposit or a transfer into it. An expense paid from the cash drawer needs an open shift, and can only be cancelled while that shift is open (after closing, the count has already included it). An archived category or account can't be used: reactivate it. A cancelled expense can't be cancelled twice. If the expense or account can't be found, refresh the page.
Customer display on a tablet: can't pair the tablet
In Receipts and printing › Customer display, first turn on Customer display on tablet (manager), then Pair a tablet. On the tablet (same Wi-Fi as the till), scan the QR code or open the address shown and enter the code, then confirm on the till the number shown by the tablet. If the tablet shows “Customer display turned off on the till”, turn the option back on; “Can't reach the till”: check the tablet's Wi-Fi and that the till is on.
Kitchen screen: pairing refused, screen revoked or waiting
The kitchen screen is turned on in Receipts and printing › Kitchen screen (café pack on). To pair a tablet: Pair a screen, then on the tablet (same Wi-Fi) scan the QR code or open the address shown and enter the code (5 minutes, once only). Then check on the till that the number shown by the tablet is correct and tap Confirm (2 minutes); otherwise Refuse. A wrong or expired code is refused: create a new one. A revoked or refused screen goes back to the pairing form. After too many attempts, wait a minute. The tablet and the till talk encrypted: the code never travels over the Wi-Fi. “Update every till”: the till isn't up to date. A tablet paired before the update switches to encryption by itself the next time it starts (Encrypted badge on the till). If the till's address changes, a tablet left on finds it again by itself (“searching the network”); a tablet switched off in the meantime pairs again with the QR code. “Public network” (Windows): set the Wi-Fi to Private.
Kitchen screen: order changed, cancelled or not found
The order changed while the screen was being tapped (edit, cancellation): the screen shows it up to date, check it and start again. A cancelled order isn't prepared. “Recall” only works on an order that has been ready for less than an hour. A ticket “not found” isn't (or is no longer) shown on this screen: it was replaced or belongs to another station.
Café: “Received”, “Ready” or “Handed over” refused on the till
“Received” and “Ready” on the till are only for stations that print their tickets: a station linked to the kitchen screen is handled on the screen. The ticket must have come out: if not, first use “Already received in kitchen” or “Print at till”. If the order has changed, the till shows the new version: check it, then tap “Ready” again. A cancelled order isn't prepared or handed over.
Café: kitchen station refused (name, fallback, deletion)
A station has a printed name of 24 characters at most, different from the other stations' names (the Arabic name is optional). The paper fallback is the till printer or another active station's printer. Six stations at most: delete one to add another. “Delete” is refused while the station is still in use: the till lists what uses it (products, categories, options, default station, another station's fallback, a screen whose only station it is, orders in progress); change those settings or wait until the orders are ready, then try again. A deleted station keeps its history and can be restored in Receipts and printing › Kitchen stations.
Café: SMS number refused
The number must be a Moroccan mobile: 06 or 07 then 8 digits (or +212 6… / +212 7…). Tick the customer's consent before saving. If the till says no SMS sending is set up, the SMS button isn't available on this till: tell the customer out loud or with the ready-orders board.
Recipe refused: product, ingredient, quantity or option effect
A recipe is made for an active product sold by the piece, not batch-tracked, that isn't itself an ingredient. Each line is an ingredient (marked in Recipes and costs › Ingredients, not removed, with no batch or recipe), used once, with a quantity above 0 (at most 1000 kg, L or pieces). An option effect targets an active option linked to the product; “Replaces” and “Multiplies” target an ingredient of the recipe; the factor goes from 0 to 10. Correct the flagged line, then save again.
Recipe, ingredient, waste or stock count already saved differently
Someone edited the recipe on another screen, or the same operation was already saved with different content (for example after a network drop). The window reloads with the saved version: check it, redo your change, then save. Nothing is saved twice.
Ingredient: still in use, batch-tracked, pack size or sale refused
An ingredient used by a recipe or by an option's default effect can't be removed: the list shown says where; change those recipes and options first. A batch-tracked product can't become an ingredient, and an ingredient or a product with a recipe can't switch to batch tracking. A purchase pack size has a name of 1 to 40 characters and a content between 0 and 100000 (8 pack sizes at most). An ingredient can only be sold at the till if “Also sold at the till” is ticked, with a selling price.
Ingredients: count, waste or period refused
With the café pack, an ingredient is counted with the stock count sheet in Recipes and costs, not with the Stock “Stock count” adjustment (waste and breakage are still possible there). Waste needs a reason, at least one line and quantities above 0 (at most 1000 per ingredient, 500 per product). A stock count goes from 0 to 1 000 000, one line per ingredient, 200 lines at most. A period runs from the start date to the end date, 366 days at most.
Preparation or production refused (syrups, cold brew)
A preparation is first an ingredient (for example “Vanilla syrup” in ml), then gets a formula in Recipes and costs › Preparations: 1 to 30 active ingredients (not archived, not batch-tracked), quantities above 0 for one batch, and the batch yield. Tap water isn't added: the yield accounts for it. A preparation can contain another one up to 3 levels deep, never itself. “Formula needs review”: an ingredient changed unit or was removed — fix the formula before producing. Produce: 0.5 to 20 batches in steps of 0.5, and a quantity made above 0 and at most twice the expected yield. If the formula changed in the meantime, reload the page.
Product photo refused
In Catalogue, open the product, then Add a photo: a JPEG, PNG or WebP photo (phone photos are fine), 20 MB at most. It is cropped square and shrunk before sending. If it's refused, take another photo or a screenshot of it. Without a photo, the product's button on the till shows only its name and price.
Option sold out or not found
The option is marked sold out for today (for example almond milk): choose another one, or a manager puts it back on sale in “Sold-out mode” › Options. An option that can't be found was removed from the menu: reload the till.
Table service turned off, or can't be turned on / off
Table service (floor plan, bills by table) is turned on in Receipts and printing › Table service, by the owner or a manager, once the café pack is on: it builds on it. To turn off the café pack, first turn off table service. Table service can't be turned off while a bill is open on a table: charge or cancel it, then try again. The floor plan is kept.
Table service not included in your plan
Your LePOS subscription doesn't include the restaurant plan: table service can't be turned on on this till. Contact LePOS to add it; the till receives it the next time it connects, then try again. A till where it was already on keeps it (orange banner “Restaurant plan not included”); don't turn it off until the plan is added.
Floor plan: area or table refused
In Floor › Edit plan: a table has a name of 12 characters at most, different from the other tables, 1 to 30 seats, and fits in the grid without overlapping another table. A table with an open bill can't be deleted: charge it first. An area that still has tables can't be deleted: delete or move its tables (“Edit › Area”). If an area or table “no longer exists”, another till or manager has just changed it: leave and reopen the editor.
Table service: bill refused
A table is opened from Floor: tap it, enter the covers (1 to 99), then add the dishes. With “My tables”, only the table's server (or a manager) can edit it, call the next course, print the bill or charge it; a manager can “Change server”. A dish's course (starter, main, dessert) is chosen before sending: once in the kitchen, it can't change. Removing an item already sent needs a reason (entry mistake, customer changed their mind, dish sent back, other). “Call next course” has nothing left to do once every course has gone.
Table service: move, merge, split or comp refused
On the bill, More actions: “Move”, “Merge”, “Transfer items”, “Split bill”, “Comp an item”. First send any pending changes. Both bills must be open and held by this till (otherwise “Take over here” from the Floor), and served by you with “My tables” (a manager can do everything). A combo and a comped item move whole; so do a line with a promotion, or a quantity that doesn't split exactly. To move everything, use “Merge”. If a course isn't at the same point on both bills (called on one, not the other), call it first. “Comp” is reserved for the owner and managers, with a reason; a comped item can no longer be edited (undo the comp first), but it can be removed. On a secondary till, the floor plan is edited on the main till (T1); a till only joins the main till once its table bills are charged or closed.
